Drew Smith Outsourced His Video
Most of the time, it seems our new Global Economy is simply a race to the bottom, with multinational corporations simply choosing countries with the lowest pay and workers' rights. But even in this unhappy new world order, there's still a little room for magic. Drew Smith, a Canadian musician and songwriter, has hopefully just started a new trend:
"So I outsourced my video to Bangalore, India," he says. "Why? Well, I figured the last thing the world needed was another low-budget singer songwriter video.
Fortunately, the first Virtual Assistant I found on google also happened to be a dance choreographer. After a couple of emails and phone calls, I received this beautiful video in my inbox."
The video was created by Asha Sarella and Vishwas Avathi, and was shot and directed in Bangalore, India.
