Berlusconi Arrives at G-20 ‘Empty-Handed’ After Revamp Vow
The Italian government does not have a plan to deal with its massive debt as Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi arrived at the G-20 meeting in Cannes today. The government passed a mini-budget before the meeting of world leaders, but has not committed to a stronger economic revitalization plan despite Italian bonds reaching new record costs for borrowing.
