Egypt Ruler: Referendum on Power Transfer Possible
Protesters in Egypt have won a number of concessions from military rulers, after they decreed that they would be willing to initiate a referendum on whether or not power should be immediately handed to civilian authorities. Tens of thousands of protesters have packed Tahrir Square in Cairo, demanding that the current head of the military council resigns.
