Egypt court clears way for ex-NDP candidates
Former members of Hosni Mubarak's political party have been allowed to run in the upcoming parliamentary elections, due to a ruling by Egypt's high court. The status of former NDP members has been a contentious issue in Egypt in the lead up to the elections, though many of them are quite popular in certain portions of the country.
