Greece crippled by anti-austerity strike

Fresh protests broke out in central Athens today in response to a new round austerity bill that will be voted on by the Greek parliament on Thursday. Tens of thousands of people were present at the protests in addition to a 48 hour general strike by transportation and government workers that left many business closed and government services shutdown.
