Greek military leadership changes spark opposition outcry

The government of Greece has fired the chief of staff of its military and the chiefs of its army, navy and air-force late on Tuesday night offering no explanation for their dismissal. Greece was ruled by a military junta from 1967 to 1974 and the move was condemned by every other political party in Greece besides the ruling party of prime minister George Papandreou.
