Human Rights Watch has issued a report that says the Syrian government is involved in systematic torture, involving electrocution, and has jailed the young and the elderly during their violent crackdown on dissent. The NGO has called for Syria to be suspended from the Arab League and says that many protesters are now arming themselves to fight the regime.
