Thousands of Hungarians took to the streets to protest a new constitution that they say undermines the country's judiciary, attacks the freedom of the press and undermines the independence of the country's central bank. The U.S., the EU and the IMF have all criticized the new constitution and recently the EU and IMF broke off negotiations with the country over financial assistance.
