Hungary scraps bond swap, currency sinks
Hungary has faced large protests since the passage of a new constitution that grants the government unprecedented powers of action. The government is having significant problems selling its debt which is presently rated at junk, and is at odds with both the IMF and the EU over reforms that limit the autonomy of the central bank.
