Iranian influence seeping into Iraq
Iranian influence has been creeping into Iraq for the past couple of years, offering guns and money to Shiites within the country while also launching incursions against Kurds in the north. Most Iraqis are still hostile to Iran due to the war the two countries had in the 1980's.
