Nigeria Torn by Rising Religious Violence

Violence between Muslim and Christian militias in Africa's most populous country has left scores dead while the government elimination of a fuel subsidy caused large protests in the country. The Boko Haram Islamic group is seen as primarily responsible for the targeting of Christians within the north, while in the south of country protesters known as "Occupy Nigeria" has come out against the elimination of the fuel subsidy.
