Syrian finance chief: Asia key to bypass sanctions
The Finance Minister of Syria said that he would work to bypass U.S. and European sanctions by pursuing other opportunities in Asia. He said that countries that are traditionally friendly to Syria, such as Russia and China, would be considered particularly in light of a possible new round of economic sanctions coming from the European Union.
