Syrian opposition urges Homs international protection

The Syrian government has been shelling the town of Homs for almost the past week, as the humanitarian situation in the city is deteriorating rapidly. The government has shut of water and electricity to the city while food and medical supplies are getting low. Syria recently agreed to a cease fire deal put forward by the Arab League, but has so far only increased its level of repression.
