Turkey PM calls for Syrian leader to step down
The prime minister of Turkey, , has said that Syrian leader Bashar Assad should step down from power, reminding him of the fate of previous dictators such as Hitler, Mussolini and the recently killed leader of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi. Over 4,000 people have been killed in the country's crackdown on dissent, and has alienated Syria from many of its neighbors and former allies.
