Turkey suspends Israel defence and trade ties
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said that his country is suspending all trade, military and defense industry ties with Israel after a report by the U.N. came out that criticized Israel's handling of a May 2010 raid on a ship bound for Gaza, in which nine Turkish citizens were killed. Turkey has expelled the Israeli Ambassador and Erdogan is contemplating a visit to Gaza in the future.
