Yemen leader signs power-transfer deal
Yemen's president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, has signed an agreement with opposition members to hand over his power and depart his office in 30 days. The agreement would allow him to avoid prosecution though it was unclear which opposition groups supported the agreement as clashes broke in Yemen today between troops loyal to the president and a dissident tribal chief.
