Herman Cain defends his '9-9-9' tax plan
Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain defended his 9-9-9 plan of a 9% personal income tax, a 9% corporate tax and a 9% federal sales tax which has been criticized by some economists who say that it will shift a larger tax burden on the middle class and poor while lowering taxes for the wealthy. Cain has moved to the top of the Republican field where he is now outpolling Mitt Romney and Rick Perry in a number of national polls.
