In Iowa, Paul closes to within one point of front-runner Gingrich
Ron Paul has closed in on the front runner in the Iowa republican primary. He has recently criticized Gingrich for changing positions on a number of issues and for taking money from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two U.S. government mortgage lenders that were involved in the housing crisis.
