A survey by the Homeland Security Policy Institute of intelligence commanders from the United States largest cities details how large of gap exists between the information being provided to them by the intelligence community and the intelligence they feel is necessary for them to understand the threats that they face locally. The concern over home grown terrorists has grown recently and many felt that the intelligence structure is not as capable as it could be.
