Rick Perry's Polluter Cronies

Rick Perry, the newest entry into the GOP Presidential Race, has always been able to fund raise well and yet few are aware of the actual sources of his fundraising. The current Governor of Texas has a cadre of wealthy individuals and businesses that have key interests in government affairs. Perry has rewarded his financial backers with legislation and appointments that have allowed them to enrich themselves and to be appointed to key commissions and regulatory bodies. In the past he has advocated environmentally destructive polices when he's been compelled to do so by his supporters. Perry has benefited from his career in government as he has become a multi-millionaire while serving the public.
