Riot police clear Occupy Oakland encampment
Riot police have cleared the Occupy Oakland camp using helicopters and police in full riot gear, taking down over 100 tents and making numerous arrests. The cities of Denver, Salt Lake and Portland with the possibility of other cities doing the same. There have been a couple deaths with people involved in or near occupy protests in the last week, in addition to health concerns about the conditions in the camps.
