Senate to vote today on debt-ceiling bill
The Senate is due to vote today on a bill today to raise the debt ceiling over $2.4 trillion as well as establish spending cuts of about $2 trillion. The bill will create a congressional super-committee to decide on spending cuts and will then precede to an up or down vote in Congress a the end of the year.
