White House blasts Internet piracy bills
The Obama administration has come out against both the Protect IP Act in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act in the House, saying that the acts while negatively effect cyber security while also allowing online piracy to continue. Security experts maintain that the provisions would undermine the ability of the U.S. government to stop hackers from taking control of the net through fake DNS entries.
