Afghans mourn murdered ex-president on World Peace Day
Afghans mourned the death of ex-president and the current chief negotiator with the Taliban, Burhanuddin Rabbani, who was killed by a suicide bomber who arrived at Rabbani's home for peace talks on Tuesday. His assassination is many in a string of high profile killings that have dashed the hopes of regular Afghans for peace and could be seen as prelude towards civil war in the country once American forces leave.
