Asian shares tumble as Europe fears deepen
Asia stock markets dropped to multi-year lows today as concern about the European debt crisis caused investors to sell out of the markets and seek safe havens. The meeting of the group of 20 largest industrialized nations in Washington D.C. did nothing to restore confidence to the markets as investors were given no details about how governments would deal with the situation.
