Australian Opposition Presses for Protest Probe
A media aide to Australian PM Julia Gillard leaked the location of opposition leader Tony Abbott on Australia Day, causing demonstrators to protest outside of the building and leading to both the PM and the opposition leader having to be escorted out by security during the frenzy. The demonstrators were aborigines and affiliates who were upset at the opposition leaders comments that it was time to move on from having an aboriginal tent embassy which has stood in front of the former parliament house for the last 40 years.
