Bin Laden raid: China 'viewed US helicopter wreckage'
U.S. Officials are now maintaining that Pakistan allowed China to view pieces of the wreckage of the U.S. stealth helicopter that the U.S. used in its raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound. The Pakistani Intelligence Service, the ISI, allowed Chinese Engineers were allowed to look at the wreckage and take pieces of the stealth skin of the downed helicopter. The U.S. Government intercepted communications between the ISI and the Chinese and though there is no evidence that a meeting between the Chinese and the Pakistanis took place, they are sure that one occurred. The revelation comes at a tough time between the two countries as many in the U.S. are concerned about Pakistan's intentions in the region and their trustworthiness as an ally.
