China artist Ai Weiwei served with $2m tax demand
China's most prominent artist, Ai Weiwei, has been charged with tax evasion by authorities, who claim that he confessed to this crime while he was detained by them. Mr. Weiwei maintains that he did not confess nor was he ever charged with a crime while under arrest. He has become one of China's most influential people and has been internationally recognized for his art work.
