China confirms weapons firms met Gaddafi envoys in July
China has admitted that its state run weapons firm had talks with the Gaddafi government in July but that no arms were sold nor were any contracts signed between the two countries. The meeting occurred without the approval of the Chinese Government and China maintains that it did not violate any U.N. sanctions.
