Former Soviet countries sign free trade agreement

Russia signed a free trade agreement with a number of ex-Soviet countries on Wednesday, which will enter into force next year. All of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States except for only Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan signed the agreement but those countries may do so before the end of the year.
