South Korea Military Says Returned Artillery Fire With North Korea Today

The South Korean Military has fired artillery rounds at the north today after the south heard explosions coming from the disputed sea border in the South China Sea. The area involved was part of a North Korean Artillery attack in November in which four South Korean Soldiers died. Currently the six-party talks have been stalled since 2008 and the current action might be an attempt by the north to bring South Korea back to the negotiating table.
