Myanmar to free more political prisoners
Myanmar is releasing political prisoners, one year after the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, the pro-democracy advocate and political leader who was under house arrest for 15 of the last 20 years. The new, nominally civilian, government has reached out to the political leader since her release from jail and has additionally changed some previous laws on political parties.
