Nato halts Afghan prisoner transfer after torture fears

NATO has stopped transferring prisoners to a number of jails run by the Afghan police and intelligence due to allegations made by the U.N. in an unpublished report that says torture occurred at the jails. The report says that the torture was widespread and systematic and the U.N. has already released its findings to the Afghan government.
