Pakistan, India take another cautious step forward

India and Pakistan have been gradually improving their relations over the past couple of years, and appear to have taken a big step forward with Pakistan normalizing trade relations with India and granting it most favored nation status. The deal would eliminate or minimize tariffs and quotas and is reflective of the desire of both nations to find allies in a region that is very unstable.
