Russia closing on WTO membership, says Kremlin aide
Russia is finally close to securing membership in the World Trade Organization after first applying to join the organization 18 years ago. So far Georgia has vetoed Russia's entrance into the organization due to longstanding disagreements between the two countries and the Swiss government has been brought in to mediate the situation.
