Russia's Protests - The capital sees its biggest demonstration yet against the Kremlin
As the unrest grows against the disputed election results, Russians and the Kremlin prepare for larger protests planned for February. Over the last 2 months Russia has seen the largest protests since the fall of the Soviet Union. The Protests are a response to the results of a Duma (parliamentary) election crudely fixed by the Kremlin on December 4th. The ruling United Russia party, led by Vladimir Putin, the prime minister, won almost half the votes. This is to date the largest opposition Putin has experience.
