U.S. readings challenge China's smog claims
Many people in China are disputing the levels of pollution put forward by the Chinese government and are instead restating the U.S. reported levels in Chinese cities. The Chinese government frequently refers to pollution related smog as fog and their pollution monitoring equipment only reports larger particles while the U.S. equipment reports particles smaller then those that the Chinese government reports, which can also be hazardous to a person's health.
