U.S. troops deployed in Afghan area bordering Pakistan’s North Waziristan: report
On Sunday the United States shifted hundreds of heavily armed troops in addition to gunships to the Afghan area bordering the Northern Waziristan part of Pakistan. The forces have initiated house-to-house searches and placed a curfew on the local populace.
