Cameron Pledges ‘Fightback’ in U.K. Riots
British Prime Minister David Cameron has pledged to use both water cannons and rubber bullets to quell the riots that have overtaken Britain in the last four days. Mr. Cameron increased the police presence in London to 16,000 officers which calmed the situation there, yet rioting continued in a number of other cities including Manchester. Courts are now working around the clock to prosecute those arrested in the rioting and jails in London are now filled beyond capacity.
