Christine Lagarde: IMF may need billions in extra funding
The head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde, said that the fund may need significantly more in funding in order to deal with helping potentially vulnerable countries those that maybe effected by a possible financial crisis. The call for increased funding came as the governments of Germany and France agreed to expand the size of European Financial Stability Fund to €3 trillion.
