Council of Europe demands truth on CIA 'black sites'
The European Commissioner for Human Rights, Thomas Hammarberg, has called on a number of countries in Eastern Europe to reveal whether or not they had secret C.I.A. prisons, or black sites, in their countries. The commissioner singled out the countries of Poland, Lithuania and Romania for their part in the secret renditions and said that other countries needed to come forward and admit their involvement.
