Euro Rescue Fund Faces Political Demands

The European Financial Stability Facility, the financial fund tasked with helping distressed euro-zone members and institutions. The fund would be able to buy bonds on the open market, recapitalize banks, and extend credit lines. Currently the fund needs to be ratified throughout the euro-zone and there are many disagreements as to what its overall structure should be and the level of control that sovereign states have over it.
