Consequences of a Moderated Far Right in Europe

Since World War II, Europe has struggled to deal with the influx of immigrants to their countries and how best to assimilate them into their societies. The 2008 financial crisis exacerbated the feeling of uneasy and contempt between native populations and immigrants, leading to a number of electoral victories for far right parities throughout Europe. Right of Center Parties have therefore adopted a more anti-immigration stance across the continent in past couple of years.
