Greece Nears Deal With Private Creditors
Greece is close to restarting negotiations with its bondholders as the country seems like it will be unable to pay the 14.5 billion it owes on March 20th. The deal will more then likely include a cash payment and then the issuance of new debt that is significantly marked down in value. The talks are being conducted between the Greek government, the EU, the IMF and the private bondholders led by the Institute of International Finance.
