Greek finance minister criticizes parliamentary report predicting budget targets to be missed
The finance minister of Greece, Evangelos Venizelos, criticized a report by a newly created parliamentary panel that said Greece was likely to have a higher then expected deficit this year due to delays in implementing reforms and a recession that is worse then originally forecast. Mr. Venizelos said that the panel was too inexperienced and lacking in knowledge to correctly compile such a report in comparison to the such entities as the European Commission and the Greek Central Bank who have done so for some time.
