UK may use army in future riots - Cameron
Prime Minister David Cameron has said that in the event of a repeat of this weeks riots, the British Government may call in the Army to return order the country. In addition the government is granting the police new powers to demand the removal of any facial coverings of anyone involved in rioting. Mr. Cameron said the police presence in London, which has been tripled to 16,000 police, would remain at that level throughout the weekend. The government would also work on tackling gang problems at a national level as many of these groups had coordinated with each other throughout the country.
